What we found
The main control board wasn't sending a signal to the compressor's inverter board. Without that signal, the compressor never started, so neither side could cool. We also found the condenser coil heavily coated in dust.

The homeowner called because the refrigerator had warmed up to 65°F and the freezer was only reaching 28°F, far above normal operating temperatures.
What we found
The drain pan heater had failed. Defrost water couldn't drain away as designed.
Water was leaking at the top of the freezer section. It dripped onto the evaporator fan.
The fan was locked in ice. Once frozen, it could no longer move air through the freezer.
What we did
Removed the freezer's rear panel and evaporator cover to reach the fan and drain assembly.
Replaced the drain pan and heater assembly.
Replaced the evaporator fan motor completely.
Reassembled the unit and confirmed normal operation.
Why it matters
On built-in Monogram refrigerators, a failed drain heater can turn into an iced-up fan and a freezer that stops cooling. Replacing only the fan would not have fixed it: without a working drain heater, the new fan would freeze again. Fixing the root cause is what keeps the repair from coming back.
