Count the beeps
Open the fresh-food compartment as directed by the model guide and note the number of warning beeps.
Model-specific warning guide • San Diego
Many Fisher & Paykel refrigerators communicate faults through warning beeps and a sequence of temperature lights; newer configurations may also use a digital display or connected notification. Record the complete pattern before switching power off, because the sequence can be more useful than a generic internet code list.
Document before reset. Take a photo or video of lights, symbols, beeps, and the display. Burning odor, smoke, sparking, water near electricity, or repeated breaker trips requires an appropriate immediate response regardless of the fault pattern.
Official recording method
Fisher & Paykel user guides for multiple ActiveSmart and integrated models instruct owners to count the beeps and record the number and sequence of temperature lights shown on the internal control panel.
Open the fresh-food compartment as directed by the model guide and note the number of warning beeps.
Photograph or draw the exact temperature-light sequence from left to right. Do not rely on memory.
Use the appliance label and match troubleshooting to that model’s user guide.
Report warming, noise, leaking, frost, ice, water flow, door behavior, or a connected-app message.
Why generic code lists fail
A five-light sequence on one control family may not map cleanly to a digital message on another model. French-door, bottom-freezer, integrated, column, and Variable Temperature Zone configurations can use different controls and documentation.

FAQ
Count the beeps, record the number and sequence of temperature lights, photograph any digital message, and note what the refrigerator is doing.
Some model guides allow an internal-control button to silence the alarm, but first record the pattern. Silencing the sound does not resolve the underlying condition.
Fisher & Paykel uses different control layouts and warning methods across product families. The model code connects the pattern to the correct guide.
Save the evidence first. If the guide recommends a power cycle, follow the model-specific instruction. Stop if a breaker trips again or there is water, odor, smoke, or wiring damage.
Send the model code, beep count, light sequence, display or app screenshot, temperature information, and any noise, leak, frost, ice, water, or door symptom.
Call Alpha Pro with the model code, beep count, light sequence, and companion symptom.
