Dacor began in Southern California in 1965, and its ranges have been part of San Diego kitchens for generations. Since a 2016 agreement, the brand has been a Samsung Electronics America subsidiary. That history means the county holds everything from legacy Epicure, Renaissance, Distinctive and Discovery models to current 30, 36 and 48 inch pro-style gas, dual-fuel and induction ranges. F1 stuck relay and F2 over-temperature

F3 and F4 oven sensor
Symptom: F3 or F4 on the display; the oven will not heat or holds the wrong temperature. Cause: A shorted or open temperature sensor, or damaged wiring. A good sensor reads close to 1,100 ohms at room temperature. Fix: We measure the sensor and harness and replace whichever is out of spec.
F7 and F8 door lock

The CPSC counted nine stove and oven tip-over deaths from January 2013 to July 2023, 60 percent of appliance tip-over deaths in that period. An engaged anti-tip bracket keeps a range from rocking forward when the oven door is loaded. We check it during every range visit.
