Symptom: Oven dead, F5 on the display. Cause: Per the OB30 service manual, the clock module and power module have lost communication, from a connection fault or a failed power module. Fix: Check and reseat connections; replace the power module. Codes vary by model, so we confirm against your model's documentation.
OB30 F7: door lock
Symptom: Self-clean won't run, door locked, F7 shown. Cause: A jammed lock, a door switch or temperature sensor fault, and otherwise the power module. Fix: Free the lock, test switch and sensor, then replace the power module if those pass.
OB60 '----': overheat
Symptom: Dashes on both displays; the oven turns off. Cause: The oven has overheated. The OB60 manual gives a reset: let it cool, then press time and temperature together. Fix: Reset once; if it recurs, we diagnose the airflow, fan or control fault causing it.
Cooling fan and element or sensor faults (all series)
Symptom: Hot controls, a fan that won't start or won't stop, no heat or uneven heat. Cause: Fan motor or wiring, a stuck triac on the power module, an open bake, broil or convection element, or a failed sensor. The fan is meant to run until the cavity drops below 300°F. Fix: Test the fan in technician mode; replace fan, module, element or sensor.
