We replace a restricted inlet valve or a worn drain pump.
Motors: LE, CE, nE
Symptom: LE or CE is a wash motor error; nE is a vario motor error. Expect noise or no wash action. Cause: A wash motor or harness fault for LE and CE; a failed vario (water-guide) motor for nE. Fix: LG's first step is breaker off for 10 seconds, then restart. If the code returns, we test the motor and harness and replace the wash motor or the vario motor.
Heat: HE, tE
Symptom: HE is a heater error; tE is a thermal error. Dishes come out cool and wet or the cycle halts. Cause: A heater or thermistor fault, a heater that isn't heating, or water above 149°F (HE) or 194°F (tE). Fix: Power-cycle once. Persistent codes get heater, thermistor and board testing, and we replace whichever part fails.
