A board or drive replacement is far smaller than a sealed-system job.
CI: check icemaker
Symptom: Leaks under the bin, ice fused into a block, no fresh ice. Cause: Loose fill-tube or supply fitting, clogged defrost drain, cabinet out of level, or a fill tube frozen by low flow through a clogged filter. Fix: Secure the fittings, clear the drain, level the cabinet, then replace the filter or valve as needed.
PF, DE and tC/tF: codes that are not failures
Symptom: PF after an outage, DE with lights on but no cooling, tC or tF after a button press. Cause: PF flags a power interruption. DE is demo mode with cooling turned off. tC and tF are TurboCool and TurboFreeze. Fix: Clear PF. Unplug the fridge for one to two minutes to leave demo mode. Let Turbo modes finish.
